How I’m Making A Swap for Sustainability!
This post is sponsored by Brita but the content and opinions expressed here are my own. I don’t know about you, but I carry a water bottle around with me everywhere! My favorite drink of choice is WATER! I can drink gallons of it every day and not even realize it. I mean I seriously tote my water bottle along with me when I go to the store, gym, park, you name it. I ALWAYS have it attached to my hip at all times. I hate it when I forget to fill up my water bottle before I leave and especially don’t want to drink tap water when I’m out.…

This blog post is sponsored by Great Clips, all opinions and views are my own. Hey Guys! Happy September! Recently, we took J to get his haircut at Great Clips in East Meadow for his FIRST back-to-school haircut. While we were waiting for our turn there were quite a few people who came in and out for their own haircuts, which for me means that they must be doing a wonderful job! Seeing a loyal clientele is HUGE for me and put me at ease, gotta love those mom nerves! CHECK-IN To beat the wait we loved that Great Clips offers the free Online Check-in app which allowed us to…

Savoy Tavern Restaurant Review – Merrick, NY
Savoy Tavern is it good or will you be taking a pass? Hey Guys! Happy Friday! I have another restaurant review coming at you today! My husband and I recently dined at the Savoy Tavern located on Long Island in Merrick, NY. The restaurant is located on a busy street and most of the parking is street parking. Since we dined there on a quiet Sunday afternoon we were able to find parking in a lot located right by the restaurant. Initial Service & Decor When we entered the restaurant it seemed that there were a few parties going on so it was quite noisy but our host tended to…

Two Weeks of Takeout or Dinnerly?
Disclaimer: I was provided two weeks worth of meal boxes from Dinnerly for this comparison. All opinions are solely mine. Hey guys! As most of you know that after having kids, life gets super hectic. Sometimes I struggle to put a wholesome meal on the table for my family because either I am too tired or let’s face it after a long day taking care of a hyper toddler I get plain lazy. My family and I end up turning to takeout more often than we should. Each order adds up money wise and adds to our waistlines! Recently I had the pleasure of trying Dinnerly– A subscription box…

This post is sponsored by A Fresh Look but the content and opinions expressed here are my own. Ethos Chocolate, chocolate, come and get your CHOCOLATE! I jumped at the chance to work with Ethos Chocolates/Fresh Look because it is of utmost importance to me as a mother to know where my food comes from. A Fresh Look has created Ethos Chocolate, a brand of chocolate custom-made using GMO ingredients like beet sugar and fruit flavoring I mean how…

Our Stay at Best Western Harrisburg North, PA
My family and my brother in laws family stayed at this hotel while visiting Hershey Park a few months ago(I have since stayed there twice in the winter for business) and it was perfect for us and myself. With 5 adults and 4 kids in between us, we were definitely looking for something that would accommodate all of us. We booked two rooms both with double beds. Here is an overview of our stay: Check-In We got to the hotel to check-in around 5 on a Friday and the parking was pretty full in the front and sides but there was ample parking in the back. The hotel is located…

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #TeaProudly #MyHotTeaMonth #CollectiveBias My Long Standing Affair with Tea As a mother, the days are long(really long) and nights shorter so unwinding with this amazing tea is always the highlight of my day! My tea of choice for National Hot Tea Month is Bigelow Constant Comment. Constant Comment is the tea to turn to when I need a break from…

Live in the Lap of Luxury – Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao in Bangkok
We stayed at the Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao for 5 days and I loved every single minute of it! The hotel is located in Chatuchak an area in Bangkok that is close enough to the hustle and bustle of the city yet it’s far enough that the environment is much calmer. It is easily accessible by the train system and taxi. Beware the traffic is pretty bad even though it is a little further out of the center of Bangkok. The Lobby Here is a picture of the entrance/lobby of the hotel. It is absolutely exquisite. The check-in area is to the left after you enter and…

Thailand Diaries Part One-Bangkok
It all started with us boarding our transpacific flight to Bangkok from JFK with a layover in Shanghai. We arrived in Bangkok and went through customs, note that a Thailand entry visa is not required for USA passport holders. For passports other than US passports, you are required to obtain a visa on your own to enter Thailand. Here is a link with more information https://thaiembdc.org/visas/ Exploring Bangkok Day 1 Home to nearly 9 million people, Bangkok fuses über-modernity with age-old Buddhist traditions. We visited the Temple of Golden Buddha (Wat Trimitr), home to the world’s biggest solid-gold Buddha statue, measuring 10 feet high, weighing over 5 tons, and valued…
