Family Friendly Travel Guide – Baltimore, MD
*Disclaimer: My family and I were given complimentary admission to the Museums and Aquarium in conjunction with Visit Baltimore, thank you for your generous hospitality Abigail! Our meal at Hard Rock Cafe and admission to Medieval Times was complimentary. Our accommodations were provided by Hampton Inn. All opinions and reviews are solely my own. A few weeks ago my family and I had the pleasure of visiting Baltimore, Maryland for a couple of days. Finding things to see and do in and around the Inner Harbor area for families was a cinch! There can be a bit of a walk from place to place so I do suggest…

With 5 adults and 4 kids in between us, we were definitely looking for something that would accommodate all of us. We booked two rooms both with double beds. Here is an overview of our stay: Check-In We got to the hotel to check-in around 5 on a Friday and the parking was pretty full in the front and sides but there was ample parking in the back. The hotel is located…

Live in the Lap of Luxury – Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao in Bangkok
We stayed at the Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao for 5 days and I loved every single minute of it! The hotel is located in Chatuchak an area in Bangkok that is close enough to the hustle and bustle of the city yet it’s far enough that the environment is much calmer. It is easily accessible by the train system and taxi. Beware the traffic is pretty bad even though it is a little further out of the center of Bangkok. The Lobby Here is a picture of the entrance/lobby of the hotel. It is absolutely exquisite. The check-in area is to the left after you enter and…

Thailand Diaries Part One-Bangkok
It all started with us boarding our transpacific flight to Bangkok from JFK with a layover in Shanghai. We arrived in Bangkok and went through customs, note that a Thailand entry visa is not required for USA passport holders. For passports other than US passports, you are required to obtain a visa on your own to enter Thailand. Here is a link with more information https://thaiembdc.org/visas/ Exploring Bangkok Day 1 Home to nearly 9 million people, Bangkok fuses über-modernity with age-old Buddhist traditions. We visited the Temple of Golden Buddha (Wat Trimitr), home to the world’s biggest solid-gold Buddha statue, measuring 10 feet high, weighing over 5 tons, and valued…
