Disclaimer: This product was gifted to me in exchange for my honest review. What is SimpleCoat? SimpleCoat is a non-toxic multi-surface cleaner treatment. It seals and protects surfaces in your home, which makes natural textures look brand spanking new – you’ll see just what I am talking about below! SimpleCoat can be used for so many things such as wood, stainless steel, hard plastic, and natural stone. I have used it all around my house including my leather bags and shoes to my stainless steel fridge and marble dining table! My Honest Thoughts In all honesty, SimpleCoat is a KEEPER! I was skeptical at first but a believer now! I…

Kheema Egg Rolls
Kheema Egg Rolls are crispy egg rolls filled with spiced ground/minced meat, onions, and cilantro. I usually make around 50-60 and freeze most of them for quick snacks and/or appetizers/meals. My family seems to go through the batches like vultures! I mean I’m really not complaining because I know they love these Kheema Egg Rolls. I serve these for parties all of the time. I usually pair them with mint/coriander chutney or my famous spice chutney(recipe coming soon). The recipe is simple and it’s definitely a crowd-pleaser. If you prefer to bake instead of fry I suggest you preheat your oven to 450 degrees and bake for 15-20 minutes. For…

Kheema(Indian Spiced Ground/Mince Meat)
Kheema has to be one of those dishes that brings me right back to family parties growing up. The sheer taste of the dish reminds me of family and leaving the table with full bellies. I have been making Kheema for about 20 years now and I rarely divert away from my fool-proof recipe. The recipe that I use has been passed down to me from my Masi(aunt) and I will forever be grateful! Now that I have my own family, I make sure that they fondly remember this recipe for years to come. What is Kheema/Keema you may ask? It is essentially minced meat, the dish I am making…

Spanish Garlic Shrimp (Gambas Al Ajillo)
Spanish Garlic Shrimp is a recipe I make a few times a month for my family. The first time I tasted this dish was when I was in Spain at a tapas restaurant. It was extremely crowded but despite the hustle and bustle, I was thoroughly engrossed in the amazing dishes that were coming out of the kitchen, particularly this Spanish Garlic Shrimp. The dish was so good that after all of these years I have not forgotten the taste! One of the most popular tapas, or small plates, in all of Spain, is gambas al ajillo, camarones al ajillo or Spanish Garlic Shrimp as I call it. It is truly a…

How I Am Able To Eat Comfort Food Without The Discomfort
I received this product for free from Moms Meet (momsmeet.com) to use and post my honest opinions. Compensation for this post was provided and this page may contain affiliate links. I suffer from frequent heartburn and indigestion and the only product that has helped thus far is Boiron Acidil Meltaway Tablets! My heartburn usually stems from eating my favorite acidic foods and/or stress. Others may experience an upset stomach, bloating, or gas. A few of my family members get heartburn/acid indigestion due to trigger foods such as coffee, alcohol, citrus, and foods that are spicy, fried, or high in fat. We generally take two tablets of Acidil before or after…

Cooking Healthy with Enspice
This post is sponsored by Moms Meet in collaboration with Enspice. This post may contain affiliate links. Lately, I have been cooking a ton more than I usually do. Chalk it up to the pandemic or maybe just wanting to ensure that my family eats better but it’s definitely a thing now in our house! I love to cook so it isn’t quite so bad but my number one motivational factor as a mother and wife is making sure I get my family the nutrients they need without sacrificing on taste. As all of you know, I am a huge fan of adding spice to my meals, and what better…

Copycat Texas Roadhouse Cinnamon Butter
If you’ve been to Texas Roadhouse then you know that their cinnamon butter is to die for! They serve it up with their warm straight out of the oven buns and the combination is just heavenly! Due to the pandemic, we haven’t been going out to eat as much and I have been craving for a taste of their cinnamon butter. So I decided to make it at home. After a few attempts, I finally got it right and now I have to make it in a big batch because it never lasts in my house! If you prefer it a bit less sweet then add less powdered sugar. Please…

How To Thrive At Being A Stay-At-Home-Mom
When I first became a stay-at-home mom, I really struggled as I had an “idea” of what it was going to be like and it was VERY different from what I expected. Mainly because I thought I would have more downtime and it turned out to be so much more work than what I had envisioned.

Six Simple Ways to Balance Work Life & Children
My Why: How do you balance home life, family, and your career without losing your marbles? While the ideal situation is to be home with your young children all of the time, some parents find they want to work outside or in the home at least some of the time. For others, it’s a necessity. In my case, I was getting stir crazy after having J and I knew I needed to start working from home in one way or another. I was lucky enough that my husband had the means to support our family without me working but I missed working – it kept my mind fresh and in…
