Copycat Texas Roadhouse Cinnamon Butter

If you’ve been to Texas Roadhouse then you know that their cinnamon butter is to die for! They serve it up with their warm straight out of the oven buns and the combination is just heavenly! Due to the pandemic, we haven’t been going out to eat as much and I have been craving for a taste of their cinnamon butter. So I decided to make it at home.

After a few attempts, I finally got it right and now I have to make it in a big batch because it never lasts in my house! If you prefer it a bit less sweet then add less powdered sugar. Please Please Please make sure your butter is at room temperature and make sure to use a hand blender or Kitchen Aid because this will not work if you do it by hand. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as we do. As always if you make this dish or any others from my site – please tag me on Instagram @themommyspice so that I can see your wonderful creations!

Equipment

  • EQUIPMENT NEEDED
  • Spatula
  • Hand Mixer/Kitchen Aid/Standing Mixer
  • Measuring Spoons

Ingredients

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Sticks Salted Butter
  • 3 TSP Ground/Powdered Cinnamon
  • 1 TSP Good Quality Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 2 TBSP Good Quality Honey
  • 1/4 Cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 Pinch of Sea Salt OPTIONAL

Instructions

RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Add all the ingredients to the bowl of a standing mixer and use the paddle attachment. If you are using a hand mixer then add the ingredients to a large bowl. Beat until well combined and fluffy. Make sure to scrape the sides of the bowl to ensure everything is incorporated well.
  • Remove mixture from the bowl and store it in a jar that has a lid. You can serve it at room temp if you prefer but I prefer to place it in the fridge for 15 minutes to set.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one month. Make sure you use an airtight jar with a cover.

Notes

Do not microwave the mix as all of the ingredients will just turn to mush and separate and obviously that's not fun. Serve this butter with pancakes, on toast, waffles or you could even add it to brownies, cookies, etc.
