Did you say Loaded Tandoori Chicken Fries? I sure did! Today I will be sharing an awesome loaded fries recipe with you but with an Indian twist! It’s super flavorful and leaves you yearning for more! If you know me then you know that I am a HUGE fan of potatoes and this dish nails that craving! P.S If you don’t have the specified cheeses on hand you can use any cheese that melts! Loaded Tandoori Chicken Fries

Quick and easy to make, super flavorful and a crowd pleaser!

Tandoori Chicken Marination 1 day

Ingredients
  

Chicken Marination

  • 1 Boneless Chicken Breast Cut into Cubes
  • 1 Cup Greek Yogurt I use Stonyfield
  • 1 Tablespoon Garlic Paste
  • 1 Tablespoon Ginger Paste
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Green Chili Paste
  • 1 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Juice of Half a Lemon/Lime If it's a small lime or lemon use the juice of the whole thing.
  • 2 Tablespoons Tandoori Masala Optional - I use Swad Brand
  • Salt to Taste
  • 1 Tablespoon Kashmiri Deggi Mirch If you cannot get a hold of this, use 1/2 a teaspoon of red food coloring instead.

Sour Cream Raita

  • 1 Cup Sour Cream You can use a low-fat version if you would like.
  • 2 Tablespoons Fresh Chopped Cilantro
  • 1 Tablespoon Fresh Chopped Mint
  • 1 Tablespoon Fresh Chopped Dill (Optional)
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Chilli Powder
  • Salt to Taste

Toppings

  • 1/2 Cup Cheddar Cheese/Pepper Jack Optional
  • 1/2 Cup Salsa Con Queso or Nacho Cheese I use Tostitos
  • 1/4 Cup Mozzarella
  • Chopped Tomatoes
  • Chopped Cilantro
  • Chopped Jalapenos

French Fries

  • 1 Bag Frozen French Fries of your choice
  • 1 Teaspoon Chat Masala Optional
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Paprika Optional

Instructions
 

Chicken Marinade

  • Mix all of the ingredients together and place in an air- tight container, sit it in the fridge and leave it overnight.

Cooking the Tandoori Chicken

  • After marinating the chicken overnight, take it out of the fridge and let it sit till it comes to room temperature. Place the chicken in a skillet or grill pan and cook until done. Chop up chicken into bite sized pieces. Remove to a plate and tent with foil.

  • Cook as per the instructions on the back of the bag.

Putting together Loaded Tandoori Chicken Fries

  • Once the fries are done cooking place them in a deep bowl, sprinkle with 1 teaspoon of chaat masala, paprika ,and a little salt to taste. Toss and then place in an oven safe skillet, I used my cast iron pan, top with half the tandoori chicken, cheese ,and top with the remaining tandoori chicken.
  • Place the skillet in the oven on broil and cook till the cheese is melted. Remove from the oven and top with tomatoes, cilantro, jalapenos and the raita. Enjoy!
