Bounce U franchises have been popping up all over in recent years, and there are several on Long Island. Each has slightly different hours, programs, and rates, so check the website for details. Times and days for open-bounce sessions vary. Reservations are required and should be made as far in advance as possible, especially for the popular family bounce nights and cosmic bounce sessions for kids of all ages.

Once Upon a Treetop, Inc. is an interactive city designed for imaginations young and old!  An ideal play space for children under eight, it is the largest imaginative indoor playground around!  There is so much to do in their 8,200 square foot facility — play in a makeshift city, take an EDUCATIONAL and Fun Parent & Me class, participate in a SUPER SPECIAL themed event, shop in their awesome TOY BOUTIQUE. I recently took my son and he loved it so much that we ended up spending 4 hours there!

Kids can climb their way up the rock wall, jump in the bounce house castle, play dress-up, build with Legos, and interact with each other in a virtual 3D world. The multilevel climbing structure has plenty of slides and tunnels to keep your little ones entertained for hours. Adults and kids can take a break and enjoy a drink or snack at the cafe for when hunger strikes.

Long Island Children’s Museum — Garden City
Admission includes the indoor play areas, Tot Spot and Climb It. At Tot Spot, kids can play in the pretend train, grocery store, or construction areas, as well as wiggle, jump, slide, and play. Climb It offers two stories of crawling and climbing adventures. The museum is open Tuesday to Sunday 10am to 5pm and memberships are available. Keep in mind that many libraries offer free museum passes for adults with children. Check with your local library for details.

  1. Love there are so many indoor playground and it is great especially when the weather is too cold or raining outside. Long Island Children’s Museum — Garden City look like a great place to play and learn.

  2. These look like tons of fun! In my previous career life I worked with children and being able to have a place to go when the weather wasn’t cooperating was a real life-saver.

  3. I live in TN, but couldn’t stop reading this because it was so much fun. Luckily, we have a couple of these franchises here.

  5. Indoor playgrounds are very helpful for many Moms to keep their babies occupied while they do their chores. And its a good way for kids to meet new friends!
