Warmer weather is finally here and I couldn’t be happier! What better way to quench your thirst than a Mango Rose Lassi. I mean does it get more refreshing than that? Lassi is basically a yogurt-based milkshake/smoothie! Lassi’s are super popular at Indian restaurants but now you can make them in the comfort of your home! Mango Rose Lassi

Yogurty refreshing goodness in a glass!

Equipment

  • Blender

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Cups Greek or Plain Yogurt I like to use Chobani Greek Yogurt
  • 2 Cup Diced Ripe Mango/Mango Pulp or Frozen Mango
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 2 Tsps Sugar Adjust to your taste
  • 1/2 Tsp Ground Cardamom (Elaichi)
  • 2 Tbsps Rooh Afza or Rose Water Available at an Indian Grocery Store or Middle Eastern Store.
  • 2 Cups Crushed Ice Optional

Instructions
 

  • Put mango, yogurt, milk, sugar, ice, rose syrup or water, and cardamom into a blender and blend for 2 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with a tiny pinch of ground cardamom, raisins, or nuts to serve. Make it fun and top with whipped cream for the kids!
  • Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Enjoy!
